# Contact and corrections

How to reach the desk, how to send a correction with its source, and what happens to a correction once it arrives.

- HTML page: https://ofm-business.com/contact/
- French version: https://ofm-business.com/fr/contact/

One address, read in English and French. There is no form on this site, because a form would mean collecting data, and this site collects none.

> **Write to / contact@ofm-business.com**
> Editorial correspondence, corrections, and requests for a source we did not print.

## E.1 Sending a correction

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send, and the short ones are the most useful. Three lines is enough:

1. The page, and the sentence you are disputing.
2. What it should say.
3. The link that shows it, ideally to the page that publishes the fact rather than to a page repeating it.

What happens next: we read the source. If it holds, the page is changed and its checked date is updated. If the error was material, the change is described on the page rather than made quietly. If the source does not hold, we reply and say why, which is also useful, because it usually means a widely repeated figure has no page behind it.

## E.2 If you are a company named here

Every product on this site is described from its own public pages, quoted and dated, and each quotation is linked. If a page of yours has changed since the date printed next to the quote, send the new page and we will update the entry and the date. If you believe a quotation misrepresents you, send the wording you would prefer to be quoted and the page it appears on, and we will quote that instead.

What we will not do: remove an accurate, sourced and dated quotation, add a rating, publish a review, or accept payment for a mention. See [Who writes here](https://ofm-business.com/who-writes-here/) for the full list of things this site refuses.

## E.3 What we cannot help with

- **Legal, tax or accounting questions.** We quote official pages and stop there. Your situation needs a professional in your jurisdiction, not a website.
- **Account problems.** We have no relationship with any platform and cannot recover, unsuspend or appeal anything.
- **Introductions.** We do not broker creators, agencies, chatters or vendors.
- **Recommendations.** We will not tell you which tool to buy. Chapters 4 and 6 give you published prices and definitions so you can decide.

## E.4 Suggesting a chapter

The handbook is seven chapters because those are the seven questions we could answer with sources. If you think there is an eighth, write and say which published documents would support it. That is the whole editorial test: if the sources exist, the chapter can be written; if they do not, the honest thing is to say the subject is not documented, which is what [chapter 7](https://ofm-business.com/guides/ofm-salary-and-earnings/) mostly does.
