A handbook is only as good as what stands behind it. Here is what stands behind this one, including the parts that should make you read it carefully.
B.1The publisher
Publisher: Independent publisher, identity held by the host (LCEN art. 6 III-2). The site is published on a non-professional basis and, as allowed by article 6 III-2 of the French LCEN, the publisher's identity is not published; it is known to the host, as set out on the legal notice page. Treat this site as what it says it is: an editorial project, not an institution.
B.2Who writes the chapters
The chapters are written by people who work in this industry: operators who run creator accounts, manage chatting, and buy the tools described here. That is the reason the handbook can explain a rota, a handoff rule or a payout hold without hand waving. It is also the reason you should know it, because it cuts both ways.
No writer is named. In a business where creators, chatters and operators are routinely harassed, a byline is a liability rather than a credential, and we would rather publish sourced work anonymously than unsourced work with a name on it. The consequence is that you cannot take anything here on the authority of the author. You are not asked to. Every factual claim carries a link to the page it came from and the date it was read, so the thing you are trusting is the source, not us.
B.3Conflicts of interest, stated
The people behind this site operate in the industry it describes, which includes using software of the kind covered in chapters 4 and 6. Assume an interest. The rules in the next section exist because of it, and they are the reason this site publishes no rankings, no scores, no reviews and no recommendations of any tool. Where a product is named, it is described from its own public pages, quoted and dated, and every reader can go and check.
B.4What this site refuses to do
- No reviews or ratings. We have not tested these products under controlled conditions, so we do not score them.
- No testimonials. No quoted customers, no case studies, no invented people. There is not a single fictional person on this site.
- No affiliate links and no sponsorship. No link on this site pays us, and no company has paid for a mention or seen a page before publication.
- No trainers, no courses, no gurus. No training brand is named here, positively or negatively.
- No accusations. Competitors and vendors are described by what their pages say. Where a claim of theirs is inconsistent, we show both of their own statements and let them stand next to each other.
- No legal conclusions. We quote official texts and stop. What they mean for your situation is a question for a lawyer who knows your facts.
B.5How a chapter gets published
A chapter is written from primary sources: platform terms, filed accounts, official administration pages, vendor pricing pages, dated journalism. Each figure is read on the page that publishes it, on a stated date, and quoted rather than paraphrased where the wording matters. Anything that cannot be read at the source is either left out or printed as a gap, marked "not verified". Chapter 5 contains two such gaps, and they are the most important paragraphs in it.
